Healing takes place in the context of a therapeutic relationship. This creates a safe space for clients to explore the beliefs, fears, or life circumstances that may be causing emotional pain. Psychotherapy provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental refuge in which to practice honest self-inquiry and learn new tools for feeling better and moving forward in life.
Psychotherapy is a transformative process, allowing us to stretch in new directions. If you would like to begin this journey, please call to set up an in-person initial session. We will meet to discuss your individual goals and expectations, review your background and personal history, and determine the best treatment approach for your needs.
Group psychotherapy offers individuals not only the benefit of professional guidance, but also the support and validation of other participants who may be facing similar life challenges. The group is facilitated and structured, providing safety to allow for individual expression and gentle accountability in moving towards one's personal goals. Groups are often formed based on common themes, such as women's issues, overcoming codependency, living with illness, among others. Please call to inquire about current group offerings.
